March's Spondon Neighbourhood Forum to focus on planning and road works

The next Spondon Neighbourhood Forum meeting takes place at the Village Hall from 6.30 - 8.30pm on Wednesday 9th March.

The Neighbourhood Forum meetings give Spondon residents a chance to put their questions and concerns to our local councillors, Police and other council representatives. It's also an excellent chance to find out what's happening in and around the Spondon area and have your say on local issues. Everyone in Spondon is welcome to attend the meeting.

Amongst the key topics in the upcoming meeting are:

  • Permit Scheme for Road Works – you will be able to comment on road works and how they are managed.
  • Local Framework Development Core Strategy – you will find out about the government’s approach to planning, what the proposals are for Spondon and how to get involved in the process.

Click here to download the Forum papers for the upcoming meeting which include more details of the topics above plus others.

The Forum meeting is preceded by the Councillor's Surgery from 5.30-6.30pm where you can meet and talk one-to-one with Spondon's three local councillors about Derby City Council services or any other Spondon issues.

The quarterly Forum meetings are part of the Spondon Neighbourhood Board's commitment to improving life for all in Spondon. You can read more about the Board by clicking here.
