Reminder on Drury Avenue 'No Entry' notices

It has been brought to the Spondon Safer Neighbourhood Team attention that on a number of occasions, vehicles have been observed to enter Drury Avenue from Willowcroft Road, showing a total disregard of the “no entry” notices.

The Police are aware this offence may be committed by people wanting to escape traffic queues and may not be residents on the street but we also urge residents of the street to make visitors to your address aware to avoid them getting caught.

To ignore the "no entry" signs is committing the offence of contravening a no entry sign, which is dealt with by way of a £30 non endorsable penalty notice.

The Spondon safer neighbourhood team take this offence very seriously and have sent out this notice to offer advice and information.
