Spondon Community Association was formed in 1977. It is a registered charity (number 506901) that aims to provide facilities for social welfare through recreation and leisure time for residents of Spondon.
It acts as an umbrella organisation for other Spondon groups of all types.
One of its major functions is to run the Village Hall as a community facility for Spondon, built after a major campaign by the Association succeeded in 1981.
