After the publication of the latest Spondon Archive book, we were contacted by a descendant of James Wareing. It soon became clear that the information in the book was the "wrong" James Wareing. With help from the Derbyshire War Memorials project team, we have now found the right one!

Note also that the book has the wrong death date in the Appendix for Cyril Albert Victor Smith; it should be 1Q1919. It was because he died after the war that he is not recorded on the Commonwealth War Graves website.
